The Tourism Authority of Thailand or TAT scheduled new exciting activities in Krabi and Phang Nga to help stimulate tourism revenue. This comes after COVID-19 has devastated Thailand’s tourist destinations. Two car rallies will kick off the event. Individuals will travel along a route connecting the 2 cities, and stop at several tourist sights and participate in cultural events. The event will bring income to local communities.

Certain activities require outdoor participation, such as planting seagrass for manatees and visiting a goat farm. Additionally, guests may visit a bead museum and the Kaset Market Krabi 2022, a street food fair. According to a communications manager for a petrol firm that is also holding the events, this is only the beginning.

“We are prepared to assist business owners, society, and community in achieving a higher standard of living and well-being, as well as sustainable growth.”

The car rallies will take place on February 19-20. Participants must pay 1,800 baht for each vehicle and 800 baht per person for parties traveling with three individuals in a car. The rallies include lodging for two days and one night, two meals, two shirts, and two caps.
