CCSA has approved lowering the required quarantine period for vaccinated tourists starting Friday. Travelers who are fully inoculated will now undergo a 7-day quarantine rather than 14 days. Arrivals who are not vaccinated or who cannot show their vaccination record will still face a prolonged quarantine term between 10 to 14 days.

Additionally, the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration approve continuing the emergency decree until November 30 and to ease the citywide curfew in Bangkok and other provinces that are marked dark red. According to reports, curfew has been revised from 9 pm to 4 am to 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. Since its start in March 2020, the emergency decree has been extended many times.

Furthermore, the CCSA session this afternoon confirmed the reopening of ten provinces in November. Provinces include Chon Buri, Chiang Mai, Loei, Buriram, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Phetchaburi, Ranong, Phang Nga, Krabi, and Bangkok.

Starting Friday, ten kinds of businesses can reopen in Bangkok and other dark red areas. Nursery and preschools are included, as are indoor activities such as spas, gyms, theatres, and tattoo parlors.   Retail shops and shopping malls are now allowed to stay open until 9 p.m.  NIghtclubs and bars will remain closed until further announcement.
